Mackenzie

Mackenzie’s musical journey began right here at PRO MUSIC+, where she first discovered her passion for drums through private lessons. She later joined student bands and performed at PRO MUSIC+ events, experiences that helped shape her confidence as a young musician. During high school, she formed her own band and has remained an active member of the South Florida music scene ever since.

With more than 10 years of experience behind the drum kit, Mackenzie has performed at notable venues including Revolution Live in South Florida and The Viper Room in Los Angeles. Today, she continues to perform as a drummer while also developing her work as a singer and guitarist under her solo artist name, Kenny Moe.

Mackenzie brings three years of teaching experience and has worked with students ranging from young children to adults. Her teaching philosophy combines essential music-reading skills with ear training, musical intuition and real-world musicianship. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Nirvana, The White Stripes and other rock influences, she creates lessons that are energetic, practical and personalized.

Whether a student learns best visually, through their favorite songs, or by listening and experimenting, Mackenzie adapts her approach to the individual. Her goal is to help every student develop not only technical ability, but also their own musical identity, creativity and confidence.
