Our Weston Music Teachers Make Music Lessons Fun

Scott has a degree in professional music from University of Miami Frost of Music. Scott is also the director of our Student Bands instructors and is experienced in writing and producing music. He performs as a professional musician throughout South Florida and is a recording artist in Jazz and Blues. Currently his band Eclipse performs weekly at Bayside and other venues throughout South Florida and he just finished a recording with Timmy Thomas. Scott works Monday – Saturday at ProMusic Plus.

David has been teaching guitar and piano since 2014 in the Weston area. At ProMusic Plus he teaches acoustic, electric, and classical guitar classes. He also teaches piano. Heis one of several guitar music teachers that is bi-lingual in English & Spanish. David studied at Broward College with a specialty in music education & recording. He is also a professional musician and plays professionally with several bands in Fort Lauderdale. David is our sound engineer and production manager who helps with all recordings done at ProMusic and our outside Charitable shows. David works Monday – Saturday at ProMusic Plus.

Anna is a piano and voice instructor at ProMusicPlus. She is a Cuban singer, songwriter, producer, and educator with a passion for nurturing talent and creating memorable learning experiences. Her years of experience as a teacher encompasses teaching traditional music theory, vocal technique, and piano technique to students ranging from 4 years old to adults that are curious about learning music. She believes in fostering a supportive and encouraging environment where students can thrive and discover their musical potential. Alvarez has conducted multiple choirs, instilling a love for music and performance in young hearts.
On her journey coming to the States, she won a full tuition “Scholarships Berklee World Tour” to attend Berklee College of Music, where she got her bachelor’s degree in Contemporary Writing, Production and Performance. Anna Alvarez released her first album in 2022 in collaboration with the renowned jazz pianist Massimo Farao, titled “Just Piano and Voice”. She performs a variety of styles from classical to musical theater, to popular music styles such as jazz, pop and, r&b as a singer and MC for “Speechless Music Company”, and “Lizje Music Company”.
In her role as the Musical Director at South Miami Senior High’s Musical Theatre Productions, she coached students to ensure they felt supported and empowered throughout the creative process, fostering a collaborative atmosphere where students could thrive and shine on stage. With her infectious enthusiasm and genuine care for her student’s well-being, Anna creates a supportive and nurturing learning environment where every lesson is an enjoyable experience.

Kamil is a Dominican singer / songwriter, DJ and music producer. He began his career at the age of 15 uploading his first songs to youtube. Way before, he studied piano and drums. He is currently doing a Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Music at NSU. Has worked together artists in Universal Mexico, and collaborated with other companies such as Rimas Publishing and Reversed Tornado. He is currently working in his solo project as Musi, and teaching basics in music production and Dj’ing.

Susan is an accomplished pianist, composer, and music educator with decades of experience. Originally from Pennsylvania, she earned her Associate Degree from Bucks County Community College, attending on full tuition after winning a music scholarship performance competition. She went on to receive her Bachelor’s degree in Music at Wilkes University in Wikes-Barre, Pennsylvania and later completed a Master of Education in Music at The College of New Jersey.
Shortly after earning her Graduate degree, Ms. Susan relocated to South Florida with her husband. There, she continued her work as a piano instructor, taught pre-school music, and served as a music counselor in North Miami Beach.
Alongside her teaching career, Ms. Susan has maintained an active performance schedule. She performs solo piano recitals annually, and has served as an accompanist for Operas and musical theater productions at venues including Dade County Auditorium and Miami-Dade College.
Ms. Susan is also a dedicated composer, having written numerous original pieces for her students, as well as her own performances. Her choral work “Over and Under,” composed in collaboration with a former student, was performed in April 2025 at Boca Raton Community High School.
Passionate about teaching with joy, humor, and encouragement, Ms. Susan works comfortably with students of all ages and levels — from absolute beginners to advanced musicians.
LESSONS SUSAN TEACHES:

Joel Enriquez is a touring musician and plays frequently with the Gypsy Kings, and other artists. He has studied Music Education at Florida International University and Miami-Dade College, where he also taught drum lessons. He is a veteran teacher and highly talented musician.
He has 25 years of experience in drumming, Studio/Stage performance and toured all over. Joel has played and recorded with/for many artists. He plays many styles from Rock, Funk, Latin, Pop, Ska, Swing, Fusion, etc., performed with Arturo Sandoval, Nestor Torres, Julio Sabala, Priscila, Javier Iglesias, Jose Iglesias, Vonelle, Locoyo, Garaje H, Jose Valentino, La India, Ever So Klever, Astor Torres, and is currently with the Multiple Grammy Winner Alvaro Torres, Crusigrama with Tomas Diaz and the Legents of The Gypsy Kings, José Luis Rodriguez EL PUMA.
Besides the Drum set, he also plays minor percussion including Congas, Timbales, bongos and especially CAJON FLAMENCO.

Alex – is one of South Florida’s favorite Saxophone Players. Alex began a music academy in Puerto Rico and has over 20 years of teaching experience. Although his primary instrument is saxophone, he also teaches flute lessons, clarinet lessons, trumpet lessons, trombone lessons and more. Alex is available for entertaining you at any function. He is part of our Build A Band live band division and is happy to play any genre required. He is a professional Jazz and Latin player. Alex has recorded several albums with South Florida’s top Musicians and is well known for his Jazz. Alex works Monday – Friday at ProMusic Plus.

DR NICK is the school Music Director and he has spent a lifetime devoted to education and the performance arts. With over thirty-three years of diverse experience including teaching at the University of Miami, S.U.N.Y. Purchase and the New York Public School system where he holds permanent New York teacher certification.
He completed a doctorate in Music Composition at the University of Miami at the age of twenty-six on full scholarship and graduated with honors. His masters degree was at S.U.N.Y Purchase in Studio Composition where he also graduated with honors. His bachelors degree was spent between Berklee College of Music and Mercy College/Westchester Conservatory in Jazz Performance where he had a merit based scholarship and graduated at the top of his class.
He has studied with such greats as Chuck Wayne, Bill Connors, Larry Coryell, Juan Mercadal and Ruth Schonthal. His music and poetry have been published and his Doctoral Dissertation has been frequently cited. He has recorded and performed under his own name as well as numerous artists over the years and has composed and arranged music for film, television and radio. Some of those highlights include Pit Bull’s reality show La Esquina Season 2 and working as a composer/arranger for Tomandandy in New York. Dr Nick has also frequently worked as a Music Therapist at various facilities including the Miami-Dade Juvenile Detention Center. He teaches guitar, bass, keyboard, voice, composition, theory and specializes in advanced jazz guitar studies.
